I asked the hubby last night if he wanted to see me take this and make some magic…
Lace. Why do we love this stuff?
Because.
It is flow
by its very nature
it moves…

…and its intricacies reach toward the divine.
I really do love knitting lace.

Thanks! I will do that for sure, I just love it.
Just lovely! Lace is my very favorite thing to knit. When you finish knitting it, you have something that looks like the cat threw up; then you wash and block it, and magic happens.
Lol! I love the cat throwing up analogy. So right!
So lovely
Thank you, Allie!
I could look at that gorgeous piece of work all day! It truly is magic.
Thanks Libby!
I love blocking lace.
WOAH. I love this. Really. Funnily, I have just mused half an hour ago whether it was possible for me to get my family something knitted this year for Christmas and was counting the people that would be possible for …
My mum loves scarfs and shawls and uses them a lot – this would be so great! And maybe even I could do it – I’ve never knit lace before …
Very, very beautiful. And I love your blocking boards as well! They seem to be dead handy; I really have to look where to get stuff like that (if I ever finish that cardigan, that is).
Thank you so much for sharing!!! (btw – may I put you in my blogroll? Would that be alright on your part? I’d really love to do that …)
Sure! I would be honored.
Do you have a crafts store in your area? I got these from Joann’s Fabric. But there are even better boards for knitting…
I hope your initiative to get started early for Christmas rubs off on me.
What a Beautiful piece of work. The color is so yummy too. It reminds me of my fave childhood ice-cream…..rainbow sherbet! Keep on inspiring us all…..very lovely
Awww thanks!!
I love knitting with bright colors! it just makes the process exciting for me. Glad I am not the only one.
Gorgeous – like knitting a garden.
This is one project where I felt the yarn and the pattern really complimented each other well. Thanks!!
I love knitting lace because it’s really easy and looks so darn impressive. I love the colorway that you used (I’m going to dig through your blog and see what the yarn is). Fantasic piece of knitting. g
