Happy Birthday to me!!
I celebrated my birthday today by spindling a little over my lunch break. 
I haven’t really had much time to do as much spinning as I have wanted since school started. But I plan to rectify that problem, immediately. 
Maybe the best “gift” I received so far was the drum carder from Natalie! Her dad bought it for her ages ago for about $100 and she offered to sell it to me. Um…yes!! How else could I make this?
Now, I don’t know how good of a job that is…
…but it works!!
Then, I got a real kick out of seeing Girl Child in her legwarmers earlier this week.

Lol!! By the time she had gotten back in from school, the legwarmers were scrunched down, backwards, with weeds poking out of them here and there!
Sigh. What’re you gonna do, right?

Thanks!! Oh my. No…No “priss.” AT ALL! Lol! In fact, she has just gotten home from school and I think her shirt ate her lunch…doesn’t stop her from jumping and rolling all over the floor in a fit of laughter. Lol. Girl Child!
Thanks! I just finished the Secret Garden a bit ago…trying to catch up on some projects and my blog hopping so, it gets a chance to rest for a minute…Now I have to come up with something to knit with it!

Happy birthday. Spinning sounds like a good reward. I haven’t tried taking my drop spindle to work yet. If sock knitting causes a stir in the break room, I wonder what that would do.
