Some Spinning

This spinning thing is getting really addictive.

Meet my first Turkish spindle. So far we are getting along pretty well.  I’ve been spinning for a few months.  Tried years ago and couldn’t get the hang of it.  But I think I’ve worked out my issues this time around.  Just needed to be a little more patient.

I bought this spindle from a wood turner named Enid Ashcroft based in the UK.  It was my second purchase from her (which says a lot).  I bought some other items from her a month or so ago that I felt it necessary to snatch up. She really knows how to pick a wood that looks beautiful and works really well for the purpose.  I normally check out her stuff here on ebay.  Now, normally, I really hate bidding.  Too much stress.  If you can contact her directly before someone bids though, she’ll take it off and sell it to you personally.  Love that Enid!
