I think I may have actually loved every stage of this cop. I finished the spinning last night, and I realized I loved the cop so much, I left it there.
Well, at least overnight, lol! I had to see it completed!
Now, I have to say it. My n-plying, also known as chain plying, needs some work.
Mmmm mmmm. Reminds me of strawberry lemonade! 🙂
I’ve posted about learning to n-ply before. Well, I’m still learning in a sense. I’ve got the motions down. But the tension is still iffy from time to time.
Sometimes my chain plying is just a bit too tight for me. So, this time, after I was done plying, I decided to run it back. After the yarn was plied, rather than just keeping what I had, I sent it back through the whole ordeal backwards, spinning it again in the initial direction in which I spun the singles. This took some of the plying twist out so that I had a less coily n-plied yarn.
Of course, this is pre-wash. But I have high hopes for it. 🙂
